The Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) is working on a strategy for its activities. Among the main goals are the popularization of the field and the creation of new opportunities.
This was stated in an interview with Forbes Ukraine magazine by the President of the Federation, the owner of the NAVI team , Maksym Krippa.
According to him, we are talking about:
- further development of school and university esports;
- reintegration of war veterans into society through esports competitions;
- launching social initiatives for an audience that is not familiar with esports.
At the same time, Maksym Krippa noted that we should not forget about supporting the Ukrainian professional scene.
“Our global goal is to show the world the full potential of Ukrainians in esports, so that the flag of Ukraine flies on the prostage as often as on the ring, court or field in international competitions, so that the names of Ukrainian esports athletes are mentioned as easily as famous athletes, and so that there are more of these names,” he said.
Krippa also said that the UESF does not want to turn into a purely regulatory body. It is important that communication between the Federation, various departments and the community is not bureaucratized.
