Dmytro Vasilyevich Kukharchuk – Deputy Commander of the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on June 4, 1990 in the city of Vinnytsia.
He received his higher education at the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University. First, he received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, and in 2023 he completed his master’s degree. In addition, he has a diploma in Economics and Management.
Career
Kukharchuk claimed that he worked as a freelancer in a Kyiv publishing house, but did not disclose his name. He took part in the protests during the Euromaidan. In 2014, he voluntarily joined the Azov battalion, and a year later he left the service.
He headed the Cherkasy branch of the Foxtrot-13 security company. He is also considered the founder of the public organization “IC “Ambroscrossfight”.
After the start of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation (RF) against Ukraine, he again joined the ranks of the Armed Forces. In the fall of 2022, he became the commander of the Second Battalion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
In the spring of 2025, it became known about the creation of the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The corps was headed by Andriy Biletsky, and Kukharchuk became his deputy.
Political Activities
During the VIII convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, he served as an assistant to MP Biletsky on a voluntary basis. In 2016, he headed the regional branch of the National Corps party in the Cherkasy region.
In 2019, he ran for the Verkhovna Rada of the IX convocation as an independent candidate and a member of the National Corps party, but without success.
The following year, he ran for mayor of Cherkasy from the same party, and in 2021 he participated in the by-elections to parliament, but also without success.
He appeared on the air of ZIK, NewsOne and 112 Ukraine, which had ties to Viktor Medvedchuk, the godfather of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Criminal cases
In March 2019, Kukharchuk took part in riots organized by the National Corps. During the action, the protesters tried to block the motorcade of the then head of state Petro Poroshenko, after which Kukharchuk was detained. Initially, the court decided to place him under house arrest, but later the measure of restraint was relaxed.
In August 2021, he, along with a representative of the National Corps, Oleh Dovbysh, was detained on suspicion of hooliganism near the President’s Office. At that time, the party held a protest, opposing the detention of its members, who were accused of extorting funds in the Kharkiv region. During the rally, there were clashes between protesters and law enforcement officials, resulting in casualties on both sides. In November, the court changed Kukharchuk’s measure of restraint, releasing him on personal recognizance.
