Vladislav Prykhodko (Vlad Darwin) is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter, producer.

He was born on July 19, 1986 in Kyiv.
Since childhood he played the piano. Already at the age of 5, he could pick up popular melodies by ear. His parents sent him to a music school, where the composition teacher singled out Vladislav among the students and allowed him to study according to an individual program.
Despite this, at a young age he did not plan to become an artist and perceived music only as a hobby.
In 2003, he graduated from the Lyceum with honors and entered the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. After 6 years of study, he received a specialty in the field of international information and planned to start working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
Career
2008 – 2015
In the summer of 2008, Darwin met singer Natalia Mogilevskaya, who was his idol in childhood. Some of the songs written by him were included in her repertoire.
In the same year, he became a participant in the TV project “Star Factory 2”. It was during the show that his stage name appeared – Vlad Darwin. After completing the project, he worked on Mogilevskaya’s album.
In the fall of 2009, the artist became the frontman of the band Darwin. The official date of the creation of the team is considered to be October 12 – then the first concert program “Music of the Elements” was presented in the Kiev dolphinarium “Nemo”. The band also released the first video for the song “Green Fairy”.
In 2010, the singer released his debut album “The Way is Open” and went on a tour of the cities of Ukraine. In the same year, clips for the songs “Goa” and “Yoga or Alcohol” appeared.
In 2011, Darwin recorded a duet with singer Alyosha – the song “You are the best” . The composition brought the author a number of awards, including “Composer of the Year” and “Radio Hit of the Year” of the “Crystal Microphone” award.
In 2013, the singer received 4 nominations for the YUNA Award: “Best Composer”, “Best Wordwriter”, “Singer of the Year” and “Duet of the Year” (together with Alyosha). He won in the category “Duet of the Year” for the song “You are the best”.
In the same year, he presented the concert program “The Meaning of Life” and released an album of the same name. He also became an envoy of the “Red Ribbon” of the United Nations (UN).
In particular, he collaborated with singer Tina Karol and wrote music and lyrics for her song “Life Goes On”. At the second YUNA Awards, he was again nominated in three categories: Best Composer, Best Wordwriter, and Singer of the Year.
2015 – 2020
In the second half of the 2010s, Darwin worked in a studio. He wrote songs for himself and other artists, was engaged in sound production, supervised the work of arrangers, sound engineers and musicians, and edited vocal recordings. In addition, he conducted private consultations for young performers.
On June 11, 2018, his mini-album “Turbulence of the Clear Sky” was released. The release included 5 songs.
On October 17, 2019, Darwin, along with singer Alyosha, announced the release of their joint album “Golden Mean”. The presentation was held in the Press-bedroom format at the HYATT Regency Kyiv hotel.
In 2020, the singer launched his own show “PRO: WIDER” on YouTube – a series of interviews with famous experts from various fields.
2020 – 2025
In 2025, Darwin became a member of the jury of the Ukrainian National Selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
Marital Status
Married to Christina Marty. In May 2021, the couple had a son, who was named Ronald.
