Vitaliy Oleksandrovych Kim – Head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration (2020 – present).
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on March 13, 1981 in Mykolaiv.
He received his secondary education at the Mykolaiv Gymnasium No. 2, after which he entered the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, where he studied in the specialty “Economics of Enterprises”.
Career
He has been engaged in entrepreneurial activities since 1998. He held the position of managing partner at the Ushuaja club.
During 2003, he worked for the company “Ukrpromresurs”, which is engaged in appraisal and auditing activities in the public sector.
In the period from 2005 to 2011, he held senior positions in several Mykolaiv enterprises specializing in international investments.
During 2015 – 2016, he participated in the organization of the activities of the analytical department of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
Until 2019, he headed 8 companies in Mykolaiv, after which he transferred management to his partners. Three of them came under the leadership of his wife Julia Kim.
Political Activities
In 2019, during the election campaign in the presidential and parliamentary elections, he worked in the Mykolaiv regional election headquarters of the Servant of the People party.
During the 2020 local elections, he headed the election headquarters, and also ran for the Mykolaiv City Council.
Since November 25, 2020, he has been the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration (RMA).
Marital Status
Married to Julia Kim.
The couple has three children: two daughters – Oleksandra and Yevhenia, as well as a son Ruslan.
