He was born on February 19, 1981 in Lviv.
Education
Kozytskyi received higher education in several institutions. During the 2000s, he studied at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where in 2007 he received the qualification of a specialist in the field of accounting and auditing. In the same year, he graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a master’s degree in management of organizations.
He received his medical education at the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. In 2004, he completed his studies in the specialty “General Medicine” and received the qualification of a doctor. Two years later, he became a Master of Medicine, completing the corresponding program at the same educational institution.
Career
In the period from August 2004 to February 2006, he completed an internship in surgery at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.
From January to September 2007, he held the position of Deputy Director in the Limited Liability Company (LLC) “Ukrmedresurs”.
In September 2007, he began working as a methodologist at the Lviv Regional Health Center.
At the same time, from September 2007 to January 2008, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrnaftogazinvest LLC on a part-time basis. Later, from January 2008 to November 2010, he continued to work as a member of the supervisory board of this enterprise.
From November 2010 to June 2014, he held the position of Deputy General Director for General Affairs at Ukrnaftogazinvest LLC. At the same time, from December 2009 to June 2014, he worked at Prykarpattia Energy Company LLC, where he held the positions of General Director and Deputy General Director part-time.
From June 2014 to October 2016, he continued to work at the Prykarpattia Energy Company, already on a permanent basis, holding the position of Deputy General Director.
In October 2016, he headed Eco-Optima LLC until January 2020.
Since February 2020, he has been the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration (RMA).
Political Activities
During 2015, he participated in the elections to the Lviv Regional Council of the VII convocation. He was nominated by the Samopomich party as a non-partisan candidate, but did not win a mandate.
In 2020, he was elected a deputy of the Lviv Regional Council of the VIII convocation, running from the Servant of the People party as a non-partisan. He headed the electoral list of a political force.
Marital Status
He is married to Oksana Kozytska, who as of 2020 worked at Lviv National Medical University.
They have a daughter, Sophia. The couple also had a son, Zinoviy, who died in July 2024.
