Kyrylo Vladlenovych Tymoshenko – Adviser to the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov (2024 – 2025), Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (2019 – 2023).
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on April 20, 1989 in Dnipro (formerly Dnipropetrovsk).
He received his higher education at the Dnipro National University, where he graduated with a degree in Jurisprudence.
Career
Tymoshenko began his career on television in the city of Dnipro, where he worked as a sports journalist and correspondent for the program “Goal!”, which aired on Novy Channel.
Later, he continued his activities in the media sphere, cooperating with the Inter TV channel, the production company FILM.ua, and also worked on the Ukraine TV channel.
In 2014, he founded GoodMedia. Her activities included commercial projects in the field of public relations, as well as election campaigns for both individual candidates and political parties in Ukraine and the post-Soviet countries.
Among GoodMedia’s clients were Petro Poroshenko, Yuriy Lutsenko, as well as the Ministry of Information Policy. In the same 2014, the company was engaged in the creation of the documentary film “The Battle for the Dnieper”.
Political Activities
In 2015, Tymoshenko participated in the elections to the Kyiv City Council as a candidate from the political party “Ukrainian Union of Patriots” (UKROP), and was also engaged in media support for the activities of this political force. During the election campaign, he worked as a producer of the limited liability company (LLC) “Mamas Film Production”.
He was also an assistant to the People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VIII convocation Andriy Denysenko.
During the 2019 presidential election, he joined the election headquarters of Volodymyr Zelensky. He was responsible for the media component and creative aspects of the campaign, and after Zelensky’s victory, he joined the organizing committee for the preparation of the inauguration of the new president.
On May 21, 2019, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. He was engaged in information policy and coordinated the implementation of the state infrastructure program “Great Construction”.
On January 23, 2023, the President signed a decree dismissing Tymoshenko from the post of Deputy Head of the Office of the President (OP).
On March 1, 2024, he became an adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov. In July 2025, it became known about Tymoshenko’s dismissal from this position.
Marital Status
He is married to Alyona Tymoshenko. They are raising their son Semyon.
