Igor Osadchyi is a Ukrainian maxillofacial surgeon, dental surgeon, candidate of medical sciences, doctor of the highest category, founder of the Osadchy Dentistry clinic.
Place of Birth, Education
Ihor Osadchyi received his higher medical education at the Bogomolets National Medical University, which he graduated in 1984. Subsequently, he connected his professional activities with surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.
In 1993, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic “Complex treatment of lymphadenitis of the parotid and submandibular region” and received the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.
An important place in the professional development of a doctor is occupied by international internships and training. Over the years, he was trained at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, the Karlsruhe University Hospital in Germany, the University of Rome La Sapienza, and also participated in international congresses and educational programs dedicated to dental implants and maxillofacial surgery.
Career
Ihor Osadchyi’s professional career spans more than four decades. After completing his studies, he began teaching at the Bogomolets National Medical University, where he taught surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery for thirteen years, combining pedagogical work with clinical practice.
At the beginning of his career, the doctor also worked in the emergency department, where he gained significant experience in the treatment of acute conditions, injuries and complex surgical pathologies. It was this period that largely shaped his professional approach and skills of working in non-standard clinical situations.
More than twenty years of Igor Osadchyi’s activity are related to dental implantation and comprehensive rehabilitation of patients with partial or complete tooth loss. He pays special attention to the treatment of complex cases, including severe bone atrophy, the consequences of unsuccessful previous interventions and complications after treatment.
In 2007, Ihor Osadchiy founded the Osadchy Dentistry clinic in Kyiv, which specializes in surgical dentistry, dental implantation and implant prosthetics. One of the principles of the clinic was an individual approach to each patient and a focus on the long-term result of treatment.
Ihor Osadchyi is a member of the European Association of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons (EACMFS) and the Association of Implantologists of Ukraine. Over the years of his professional activity, he took part in more than a hundred scientific congresses, conferences and symposia, some of which he attended as a speaker.
The doctor also maintains constant professional cooperation with the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology named after O. O. Shalimov and the Institute of Otolaryngology named after Professor O. S. Kolomiichenko of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

The main areas of activity of Igor Osadchy are maxillofacial surgery, surgical dentistry, dental implantation, implant prosthetics, treatment of odontogenic sinusitis, diagnosis and treatment of dysfunctions of the temporomandibular joint, as well as reconstructive and plastic surgery of the face.
One of the key areas of his professional activity is the treatment of patients with bone deficiency. Ihor Osadchyi became one of the first specialists in Ukraine who began to systematically use short implants of the plateau system, which significantly expanded the possibilities of implantation in complex clinical cases.
A special place in his practice is occupied by the treatment of odontogenic sinusitis, which arises as a result of dental infections and requires an integrated approach involving knowledge in the field of dentistry and otolaryngology.
Ihor Osadchyi also specializes in complex tooth extractions, treatment of impacted and dystopic wisdom teeth, surgical treatment of neoplasms in the area of tooth roots and other non-standard clinical situations that require an interdisciplinary approach and significant clinical experience.
