Taras Vasilyevich Tsymbalyuk is a Ukrainian theater, film and television actor.
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on December 16, 1989 in the city of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi in a family of teachers. His father, Vasyl Tsymbalyuk, was a well-known literary critic and historian. Mother, Tsymbalyuk Tetiana Vasylivna, is a philologist and teacher of French by profession.
In 2013, Tsymbalyuk completed his studies at the Ivan Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Film and Television, having received a degree in drama theater and cinema.
Career
During 2011 he worked at the Kyiv Academic Young Theater, and during 2012 – at the Kyiv Academic Theater for Young Spectators on Lypky.
Since 2013, he has been an actor at the Constellation Theater.
He first appeared on television in 2011, taking part in the mystical series “The Dark Diaries”. Over time, series with his participation began to be released on Netflix platforms and other streaming services.
In the series “Serfdom” he played the blacksmith Omelyan, who rebelled against the order, and in the project “Catch Kaydash” he embodied the image of Karp Kaydash.
Tsymbalyuk also played the main role in the feature film “The Black Raven”, which was shot based on the novel of the same name by Vasyl Shklyar.

Social activism
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation (RF), Tsymbalyuk has been actively supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU): he joins fundraising, participates in charitable initiatives, and implements his own volunteer projects.
In particular, together with actor Yevhen Oliynyk, he founded the theater project “Emigrants”, the profit from which was used to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After a successful start, the actors prepared two more initiatives – “Basic Instinct” and “Our Kaidashi”. During this period, they managed to raise more than 5 million hryvnias to support Ukrainian fighters.
In addition, together with fellow actors, he created the Act Lots initiative, within the framework of which iconic items from various series were put up for auction. Thanks to this project, it was possible to raise funds for the purchase of five ambulances, vehicle repairs and the purchase of medical supplies for the military.
He also joined charitable initiatives, in particular, he worked as a waiter together with other actors to raise money for the evacuation of residents from the frontline territories. In one evening, they managed to collect 223.4 thousand hryvnias.
Hobbies
He is actively involved in sports, devotes time to boxing and strength training. Monitors the diet and maintains good physical shape.
Personal life
Tsymbalyuk was married twice.
His first wife was a classmate, whom he married while studying. However, the marriage did not last long – only a few months. Both realized that there was no point in continuing the relationship, so they decided to divorce.
The actor’s second marriage was with Tina Antonenko, a stylist whom he met while working on the video. This time, Tsymbalyuk was in no hurry to formalize the relationship. The couple lived together and was in no hurry to get married. Only two years after the start of the relationship, the actor made a girlish proposal during the live broadcast of the show “Dancing with the Stars”. The wedding ceremony took place in 2021. However, at the beginning of 2022, the couple decided to break up.
Just 4 months after the divorce, photos appeared on his social networks in which he poses with a new blonde companion. Later it became known that the new chosen one of the actor is Svetlana Gotochkina, a designer and restaurateur from Kyiv.
