Nadezhda Vladimirovna Dorofeeva is a Ukrainian singer, designer, actress, member of the group “Vremya i Steklo” (2010 – 2020).
Place of Birth, Education
She was born on April 21, 1990 in the city of Simferopol in the family of a military man. She received her secondary education at the 3rd Lyceum of her hometown.
Subsequently, she entered the Moscow State Institute of Culture, where she studied in absentia, choosing the Faculty of Vocal Art.
Music career
From an early age, she took an active part in various creative competitions in vocals and dances, including, for example, the competitions “Southern Express” and “Black Sea Games”.
At the age of 12, Dorofeeva began performing on the stage of the Simferopol nightclub Albion, where she performed Ukrainian songs in a modern arrangement.
2005 was a landmark year for her: she entered the final of the popular television project “Chance” and joined the Lviv musical group “Vodohrai”, in which she performed until 2007.
In the same year, she took part in the prestigious competition “Golden Voice of Russia-2005”, held in Moscow.
In 2005, she moved to the capital of Russia, where she joined the musical group “M.C.S.”. However, already in 2007, after the release of the band’s studio album, the singer decided to leave the group and return to Kyiv. Returning to Ukraine, she began a solo career under the stage name “Marquise”.
In 2010, she became a member of the popular musical duo “Vremya i Steklo”, which also included Alexei Zavgorodny (known under the pseudonym Pozitiv). The producer and one of the songwriters of the project was Oleksiy Potapenko (Potap).
In 2011, she became one of the youngest participants in the second season of the television show “Star + Star”, which aired on the 1+1 channel.
In 2012, she took part in the popular reincarnation show “SHOWMASTERGOWN”, which aired on the New Channel, and in 2015 she became a coach in the children’s talent show “Little Giants”, which was broadcast on the 1+1 TV channel.
In June 2017, it became known that the singer took the coach’s chair in the Ukrainian vocal project “Voice. Children”, where she worked together with her colleague in the band “Vremya and Steklo” – Zavgorodny.
Since August 27, 2017, she has taken part in the dance show “Dancing with the Stars: The Return of a Legend” on 1+1. Her partner was Yevhen Kot, the winner of the project “Everyone Dances! The Return of the Heroes”. As a result, the couple took second place in the competition.
In 2018, Nadezhda became a star coach in the fourth season of the comedy show “League of Laughter”, which aired on the 1+1 TV channel.
On March 10, 2020, the group “Vremya i Steklo” released a video for the song “Forever/Never”. After the premiere, Dorofeeva and Zavgorodny officially announced the breakup of the team and announced a farewell tour of the cities of Ukraine called “Final Credits”.
In the same 2020, Nadezhda began her solo career, taking the stage name DOROFEEVA.
In 2021, her debut solo mini-album titled “Dopamin” was released.
And already in 2022, the singer became the coach of the eleventh season of the vocal show “The Voice of the Country”.
Film career
In October 2016, she appeared in the comedy series “The Candidate”, where she played herself, and in November she tried herself as a dubbing actress, voicing the main character in the Ukrainian version of the animated film “The Bremen Robbers”.
In 2018, she took up dubbing again, this time giving her voice to the main character of the Ukrainian cartoon “The Stolen Princess: Ruslan and Lyudmila” from the animation studio Animagrad.
In addition, on February 14, 2018, together with the group “Vremya and Steklo”, the singer presented the official soundtrack to this cartoon – the song “To the Stars”.
In the summer of 2018, Dorofeeva starred in a feature film for the first time. She played the role of Elena in the romantic comedy “I, You, He, She.” Her partners on the set were Volodymyr Zelensky and Yevhen Koshovyi, leaders of the Kvartal 95 studio.
In 2017, the singer became an ambassador for the famous cosmetics brand Maybelline. As part of the collaboration, she took part in a photo shoot that took place in New York.
Marital Status
Since July 8, 2015, Dorofeeva has been married to Vladimir Dantès, a former member of the DiO.films group. However, on March 18, 2022, the couple officially announced their divorce.
In June 2023, the singer remarried. Her chosen one was Mikhail Katsurin, a restaurateur and musician.
