Bruce Willis is an American film actor, two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner, Knight of the French Order of Arts and Letters.

He was born on March 19, 1955 on the territory of the military base in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany, in the family of an American soldier and a German woman.
In 1957, when my father completed his military service, the family moved to the city of Penns Grove in the state of New Jersey of the United States of America (USA).
The future actor, who was the oldest among the four children in the family, had a difficult childhood and suffered from stuttering. He spent most of his time outside the home. In high school, he combined his studies with participation in the school drama club, where he played in plays by playwrights William Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams, and also served as president of the student council.
