Isabella May Ramsay is a British actress.

She was born on September 30, 2003 in the British city of Nottingham.
From 4 to 11 years old, she studied at the Stagecoach Theater Arts theater school.
The first stage experiences for her were the amateur roles of Amaryllis and Molly in the musicals “Music Salesman” and “Annie”. Also, from the age of 8, together with her older sister, she participated in the performances of the local comedy theater troupe.
In 2013, she entered the acting school Central Junior Television Workshop in Nottingham, where she began casting for professional roles in films and television series.
Already in 2014, she was considered as one of the contenders for the role of Sophie in Steven Spielberg’s film “The Great Friendly Giant”, but in the end this role was given to Ruby Barnhill.
Career
In 2016, Ramsay first appeared on television screens, playing the role of Lyanna Mormont, the ten-year-old ruler of Bear Island in the HBO series Game of Thrones. At the same time, her acting attracted the attention of both viewers and critics, who praised the girl’s performance. In particular, The Hollywood Reporter called Ramsay “the rising star of the sixth season.”
In May 2016, the filming of the series “The Worst Witch” began, where Ramsay played the main role – a student of the Witch Academy, who constantly finds herself in comical and awkward situations.
