Roman Mykhailovych Lozynskyi – People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation.

He was born on January 20, 1994 in Lviv.
He received his higher education at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where in 2015 he received a diploma in Political Science.
In 2017, he graduated from the School of Public Administration at the Ukrainian Catholic University.
Career
Since 2015, he has worked as an assistant to the deputy of the Lviv City Council Yulia Hvozdovych. In the same year, he ran for the city council, but did not pass.
During 2015-2017, he served as deputy head of the Lviv city branch of the Ukrainian Galician Party (UCP).
In 2016, he completed an internship in Canada in the office of Liberal MP Boris Wrzesniewski. The following year, he became the deputy head of the “UCP” and headed its secretariat. In 2018-2019, he led the party.
In the summer of 2019, the UGP signed a cooperation agreement with the Holos party as part of the parliamentary campaign, and Lozynskyi coordinated the activities of Holos in the Lviv region.
In the elections of the same year, he became a people’s deputy of the IX convocation from the “Voice” under No. 15 on the list. In the Verkhovna Rada, he held the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning.
In June 2021, together with ten other deputies, he expressed no confidence in the head of the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, and joined the newly created Justice association.
Military service
In the fall of 2021, he signed a contract to serve in the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), becoming part of the 73rd Naval Special Operations Center.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he voluntarily mobilized. In September 2023, he returned to work in the Verkhovna Rada.

He is married to Svetlana Kisileva.
