Olena Kondratyuk – Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation, people’s deputy of the VI, VII, VIII, IX convocations.

She was born on November 17, 1970 in Lviv.
During 1988 – 1993 she received higher education at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. She received the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences. She was engaged in the study of social movements in Ukraine.
Career
She held the position of director of the PR agency “Adviser”.
Political Activities
In 2007, she received the mandate of a people’s deputy, having entered the parliament from the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc. During the election campaigns of 2012 and 2014, she again won a deputy mandate, running for the All-Ukrainian Union (VO) “Batkivshchyna”. She served as Secretary of the Parliamentary Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information Policy.
In December 2011, she became one of the initiators of the creation of the inter-factional deputy association “Equal Opportunities”.
During 2012 – 2014, she was a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), holding the position of deputy member of the delegation. Prior to that, in 2007-2012, she held a similar position in the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative.
According to the results of the early parliamentary elections of 2019, she was elected to the Verkhovna Rada from Batkivshchyna.
On August 29, 2019, she was elected Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the IX convocation. Her candidacy was supported by 290 people’s deputies.
Marital Status
She is married to Oleksandr Bohutskyi, Director-President of the ICTV channel and a member of the board of the investment and consulting company EastOne. The couple has a daughter, Justina.
