Natalia Romanivna Pipa is a people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the IX convocation.
Place of Birth, Education
She was born on October 12, 1983 in Lviv.
In 2005, she completed her studies at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where she received a diploma in Economic Cybernetics.
Later, in 2018, she studied at the Ukrainian Catholic University, where she mastered management in the field of non-profit organizations and effective governance.
Career
In 1997, she joined the national scout organization “Plast”.
During 2000–2004, she was a member of the international organization for the development of leadership qualities AIESEC.
After that, until 2013, she worked in the insurance sector, holding the position of a broker in the company “Insurance Broker “Expert”.
In 2013, she started working at the Center for Children and Youth with Special Needs “Dzherelo”, where she was responsible for external relations. The following year, she became one of the founders of the public organizations “Square of Dignity” and “Best Sykhiv”, the latter of which she headed until 2019.
Political Activities
In 2015, she nominated her candidacy for the Lviv Regional and City Councils from the Ukrainian Galician Party party, but did not win a mandate. She served as deputy head of the Lviv branch of the party, and later, until 2019, headed its city organization in Lviv.
In 2019, she became a people’s deputy of the IX convocation, having entered the Rada from the Holos party. She received a mandate in constituency No. 115 in the Lviv region as a non-partisan candidate. In the parliament, she worked as secretary of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation.
Two years later, she announced her accession to the “Justice” association and expressed no confidence in the head of the parliamentary faction “Holos” Yaroslav Zheleznyak
Marital Status
She is married to Andriy Rushchak, the head of the public organization (NGO) “Best Sykhiv”.
The couple has two sons: Luca and Mark.
