Evgeny Alexandrovich Chernyak is a businessman, chairman of the supervisory board of the Global Spirits alcohol holding.
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on April 12, 1969 in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
He received his higher education at Zaporizhzhia Technical University, which he graduated in 1995, specializing in machines and foundry technology.
In 2004, he received another education, graduating from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management with a degree in law.
Later he received a financial education at Zaporizhzhya National University.
Career
In 1995, he united a group of private entrepreneurs, creating a distribution company “Trading House “Megapolis”, where until 2002 he held the position of General Director. After that, he was elected as the permanent chairman of the company’s board of founders.
He is the owner of the Khortytsia distillery, and is also a member of the supervisory board of the closed joint stock company (CJSC) “Odessa Cognac Factory”. He heads the supervisory board of the international alcohol company Global Spirits, which in 2008 united the enterprises “Megapolis”, “Khortytsia” and “Odessa Cognac Factory”. In May 2011, the holding reached an agreement on the acquisition of the Lviv distillery.
In June 2013, Chernyak announced the acquisition of the Poltava Distillery, on the basis of which the production of products under the Pervak trademark was started.
Since 2018, she has been running her own YouTube channel called Big Money.

As of 2021, Forbes Ukraine magazine estimated Chernyak’s net worth at $470 million.
His holding Global Spirits produces alcohol under well-known brands, including Khortytsia, Morosha, Oreanda, Mikado, Pervak and Shustoff.
Criminal case
In 2023, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced Chernyak suspicion of financing the armed aggression of the Russian Federation (RF). According to the investigation, the entrepreneur’s companies continued to do business with the aggressor country, despite the full-scale invasion.
The investigation found that during 2022, Chernyak’s enterprises paid taxes to the state budget of Russia in the amount of approximately 6 billion hryvnias. In addition, companies operating in the countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus purchased alcohol and other related products on an industrial scale in the Russian Federation.
The businessman himself denied all accusations.
