Volodymyr Lucian Kravchuk is a Ukrainian theater and film actor, comedian and serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on November 6, 1984 in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
He received his higher education at the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.
Career
In 2016, he began working as an actor at the Mamakhotala studio, and in 2019 at the Kyiv Academic Drama and Comedy Theater.
At the same time, he began to collaborate with the “Wild Theater”.
Theatre
In 2016, he played Roman in the play “Viy 2.0” and Kostyk in the production of “Priests. Mints. Loot. Women” directed by Maksym Holenko.
During 2017, he took part in the play “Aphrodisiac” by Viktor Ponizov, where he played the role of Lucian, played Sanko in the production of “O Two” directed by Vladislava Belozorenko and embodied the image of Jiří in the play “We are all adults” by Ekaterina Bashkina. In particular, he appeared in the production of “Malanka” as Pip.
In 2018, Kravchuk joined the play “Kittyunya”, where he played Christie.
In 2019, he played Karp in the production of “Kaydashi 2.0”.
In 2021, he appeared on stage in the play “Carbide” directed by Alexei Dorychevsky, where he played Mircea.
Movies and series
In 2019, he appeared in the TV series “Veliky Vuyki” and played in the film “Trouble on 5 Baksiv”.
The following year, he joined the work on the TV project “Cossacks. A completely false story.”
During 2021, he took part in several projects: the films “Amber Cops”, “Shchedryk” and “Stars for Exchange”, as well as in the series “My Beloved Strashko”.
In 2022, he played the main role in the film “Neighbor”.
In 2024, Kravchuk got the main role in the fantastic tragicomedy “You Are Space”, where he played the trucker Andrei. For this work, he received the award for Best Actor at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in Greece.
In 2025, he joined the film “Parents’ Meeting”.
Full-scale war
After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, Kravchuk joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He served in the territorial defense and for a year and a half was a machine gunner of the 87th battalion of the 106th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense.
Later, he moved to the post of war correspondent for the Army TV channel.
