Noah Schnapp

Noah Cameron Schnapp is an American actor.

Place of Birth, Education

He was born on October 3, 2004 in New York, United States of America (USA) in the family of Mitchell and Karin Schnapp. He spent his childhood in Scarsdale.

The desire to work in the cinema appeared in the future actor after watching the Broadway production of Annie.

At first, he played in school and amateur plays.

After that, his parents enrolled him in the acting program Westchester’s Star Kidz, where coach Alison Isbrandtsen worked with him. It was she who later recommended the guy to the MKS&D Talent Management agency for further career development.

In 2015, Schnapp first appeared in films, playing Roger Donovan in the film “Bridge of Spies”. In the same year, he made his dubbing debut, voicing Charlie Brown in the animated film Snoopy and Charlie Brown: Small Things in the Movies.

In 2016, he again worked as a voice actor – this time on the character of Jay in the cartoon “Angry Birds in the Movies”. In particular, he played Lucas in the short film “The Circle”.

In 2017, Schnapp worked on the role of Otis Copeland in the film “We Only Know This”.

In 2018, he voiced Kai in the animated film The Legend of Halloween.

In 2019, Schnapp played the main role in the film “Abe”.

A year later, he starred in two films: he played Joe in the drama “Waiting for Anya” and Tommy in the comedy “Gabi and Halloween”.

After working on the series “Stranger Things”, Schnapp and Millie Bobby Brown became close friends.

On January 5, 2023, the actor stated that he belongs to the LGBT community and identifies as gay. He did so in a TikTok video where he noted that he felt a lot of relief after the support from family and friends. In the caption, Schnapp added a joke about what appears to have more to do with Will Byers than previously assumed, hinting that his character on Stranger Things is also gay.
