Dmitry Vyacheslavovich Volkanov is a Ukrainian performer and composer.

He was born on July 6, 2001 in the city of Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine.
During 2007 – 2018, he studied at secondary school No. 2. After graduating from school, he continued his education at the Kyiv University of Culture, where he studied the specialty “Artist-vocalist of the pop genre”.
Career
Volkanov’s career began with participation in the show “X-Factor”, where he reached the super final and joined the team of Andriy Danilko. After the completion of the project, he was invited to work in Verka Serduchka’s band as a backing vocalist, where he spent the next 4 years.
After the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, Volkanov decided to start a solo career under the stage name Volkanov and released his debut single “Draw”.
VOLKANOVA became famous in 2023, when he began to sing in the chanson genre. As the singer noted, the love for this style arose in childhood. From a young age, he sang chanson at local weddings, where his grandfather worked as a musician, and this tradition stayed with him.
During 2023, Volkanov presented several of his own songs, among which the composition “You Found” stands out. The track stayed at the top of the country charts for several months and gained over 18 million views on the YouTube platform.
Since the end of 2023, Volkanov has given more than 300 solo concerts throughout Ukraine.
