Vladimir Valerievich Ostapchuk is a Ukrainian TV and radio presenter, actor, stand-up comedian.
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on September 27, 1984, in the city of Uman, Cherkasy region.
In 2002, he entered the Donetsk University of Economics and Trade named after Tugan-Baranovsky.
In 2010, he moved to Kyiv and began his studies at the school of announcers at STB.
Career
After training, Ostapchuk worked for 1.5 years on the First Automobile TV channel. In 2012, the program “Minus 1” was aired, where he was a co-author and presenter. In the issues, he analyzed traffic situations and traffic accidents (accidents). Subsequently, he worked as an announcer, radio presenter and TV presenter on various channels. He also tried himself in acting – starred in episodes of the series “The Return of Mukhtar”.
In 2017, he left for Toronto, and by 2019 he returned to Ukraine. In particular, in 2017, together with Oleksandr Skichko and Timur Miroshnichenko, he was the host of Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv.
From August to November 2019, he participated in the 6th season of the show “Dancing with the Stars” on “1+1” paired with Ilona Gvozdyova. He reached the semifinals and took 3rd place.
In 2020, he began his career as a stand-up comedian and presented the author’s program “Awkward” Stand Up. In particular, he became the host of the show “The Mask” on the TV channel “Ukraine” – the Ukrainian version of The Masked Singer format.
A year later, he hosted the musical talent show “Everyone Sings” on the same channel.
In November 2021, on the Day of Remembrance of the Holodomor Victims, he took part in the “Hungry Tusa” party.
In March 2022, after the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation (RF) into Ukraine, he joined the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).
In August 2023, he joined the charity race of the Ukrainian Running Club in Valencia as an invited guest, which was organized by ultramarathon runner Mykola Taran.
Marital Status
From 2007 to 2020, Ostapchuk was married to Elena Sergeevna Voichenko. They had a daughter, Emilia, in 2013, and a son, Evan-Alexander, in 2018.
In 2020, he married Khrystyna Gornyak, but the couple divorced in 2022.
Now Ostapchuk’s wife is Kateryna Poltavska. On December 10, 2024, the couple had a son, Timofey.
