Natasha Jane Richardson is a British theater, film and television actress, film producer.

She was born on May 11, 1963 in the Marylebone district of London.
He comes from the famous Redgrave acting dynasty. Her father was director and producer Tony Richardson, and her mother was actress Vanessa Redgrave.
Career
She began her acting career as a child, appearing in a small episode of the 1968 film “Light Cavalry Attack”, which was directed by her father. The first steps on the theater stage were associated with classic Shakespearean characters: she played Helena in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Ophelia in “Hamlet”.
The turning point in her creative path was 1986, when she played the role of Nina in the production of “The Seagull” based on Chekhov’s play.
In the 1980s, she starred in such television films as Gothic, Moon in the Village and The Handmaid’s Tale.
In 1994, Richardson was awarded Best Actress at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival for her role in the film Widow Mountain. In the same year, she starred in the film “Nell” alongside Jodie Foster and Liam Neeson.
In 1998, she played the role of Elizabeth James in the popular family comedy “The Parent Trap”.
In later years, she also appeared in films such as “The English Barber”, “The Walls of Chelsea”, “Waking up in Reno”, “Lady Maid”, “Madness”, “The White Countess” and “Evening”.
Richardson’s last work was the role of the headmistress of a girls’ school in the comedy “Tear Off”.
At the end of January 2009, she also voiced the off-screen role of the wife of climber George Mallory, who disappeared during an expedition to Everest in 1924, in the documentary “The Wildest Dream”.
Death
On March 16, 2009, Richardson received a serious head injury while skiing at the resort of Mont-Tremblant in the province of Quebec. According to resort officials, she was without a helmet and was on a track designed for beginners. After the fall, no visible injuries were found in her, but she refused medical attention.
Over time, her condition deteriorated sharply – she lost consciousness and fell into a coma. After that, Richardson was taken to the Sacré-Cœur hospital in Montreal.
On March 18, the actress’s family decided to disconnect her from life support, because, according to doctors, she had brain death. Doctors noted that the tragedy could probably have been avoided if the actress had agreed to an examination after the fall in a timely manner.
Marital Status
Between 1990 and 1992, Richardson was married to producer Robert Fox.
In 1994, she married actor Liam Neeson, whom she met while working on a theatrical production. They had two sons: Michael in 1996 and Daniel in 1997.
