Konstantin Shotayevich Meladze is a Russian composer-songwriter and producer of the younger brother of the singer Valery Meladze.

He was born on May 11, 1963 in Georgia.
He studied at a music school, after which he entered the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute.
Career
Until 1989, he worked as a design engineer in a design bureau, until he decided to seriously engage in music. In the same year, he became a member of the famous Soviet band “Dialogue”, where he performed as a keyboardist and wrote songs. His brother Valery Meladze was the vocalist of the band.
Konstantin is the author of two albums of “Dialogue”, all solo compositions of his brother, as well as three New Year’s musicals – “Evenings on a Farm Near Dykanka”, “Cinderella” and “Sorochinsky Fair”. Valery is also producing.
As a composer, poet and producer, he wrote all the songs of the popular Ukrainian-Russian band “VIA Gra”, which was founded in 2000. In addition, he is the general producer of the project.
In 2007, Konstantin Meladze became the producer of the famous television project “Star Factory – 7”.
In 2009, he founded the production center “Constanta Records”.
In addition to working with Valery and the VIA Gra group, his songs were performed by such performers as Alla Pugacheva, Kristina Orbakaite, Verka Serduchka, Ani Lorak, Sofia Rotaru, Taisia Povaliy, as well as several winners of the Star Factory – 7.
In 2010, he became a music producer of the Ukrainian talent show “Ukraine Does Not Believe in Tears”, and in 2011 he worked on the vocal project “The Voice of the Country”.
In October 2018, he joined the mentors of the show “The Voice” on the Russian “Channel One”. In the final, a member of his team Pyotr Zakharov won. The following year, he again took his place as a mentor in the eighth season of this show.
Marital Status
Konstantin’s first wife was Yana Meladze. Their wedding took place on July 22, 1994. After nineteen years of marriage, on August 20, 2013, it became known about their decision to divorce. From this marriage, they have three children: daughters Alice, and Leah, as well as son Valery.
On October 23, 2015, in the Italian city of Forte dei Marmi, he married Vera Brezhneva, who was previously a member of the VIA Gra group. In October 2023, it became known about their divorce.
