Irma Grigorievna Vitovska-Vantsa is a theater and film actress, producer, public figure.
Place of Birth, Education
She was born on December 30, 1974 in Ivano-Frankivsk.
In 1998, she completed her studies at the Lviv State Music Institute with a degree in drama theater actress.
Theatre
Since 1998, she has worked as an actress at the Kyiv Young Theater. Over the years, she performed roles in theater performances, including:
- Frantykha and the Movie Star in the production of “Chasing Two Hares” based on the work of Mykhailo Starytskyi;
- Lulu and Christine in Jacques de Letraz’s comedy “The Kid”;
- the image of Maria Antonovna in the play “The Inspector General”;
- the roles of Clara and Lauretta in the play “The Engagement of Seville” by Richard Sheridan.
In 2000, on the stage of the Young Theater, she played the role of the Actress in William Shakespeare’s tragedy “Hamlet”, and also played the main character in the play “The Little Mermaid”, created based on the play by Lyudmila Razumovskaya.
In August 2007, she took part in an entreprise theatrical production, which was staged by director Vitaly Malakhov, entitled “It’s So Easy to Help, or Where Children Come From.”
In 2015, she made her debut on the stage of the Golden Gate Theater in the production of “Stalkers” based on the work of Pavel Arie, in which she embodied the image of Baba Prisya.
Since 2015, she began cooperation with the Ivano-Frankivsk National Academic Drama Theater. In the same year, she played the role of Rouge in the play “Oscar and the Pink Lady”, based on the novel by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
In 2017, she played Queen Gertrude in the production of “Hamlet” based on the work of William Shakespeare.
In 2022, she embodied two stage roles at once: Irma and Aunt Sharika in the play “The Ball, or the Love of the Sich Rifleman”, staged on the basis of the work by Yaroslav Barnych, and also played Lukash’s mother in the production of “The Forest Song on the Fields of Blood”, inspired by the drama by Lesya Ukrainka.
Television and film
She gained wide popularity after filming in the series “Lesya + Roma”, which aired on the ICTV channel. She also played the role of Lyuba in the series “Guardian Angel” and appeared in various films, including “Necklace for the Snow Woman”, “Don’t Run Over Santa Claus”, “Between the First and the Second” and more.
Since October 11, 2015, she has been the coach of the entertainment show “Little Giants”, which aired on the 1+1 TV channel. In addition, she hosted the TV programs “Marriage Games, or Number for the Newlyweds” and “People’s Star” on ICTV. She also participated in the vocal project “People’s Star”, which was broadcast by the TV channel “Ukraine”.
Marital Status
Vitovskaya, from 1993 to 2016, was married to Vladimir Kokotunov, an actor of the Young Theater. On March 29, 2011, their son Orest Kokotunov was born.
On April 8, 2016, she remarried. Her husband was Vitaliy Vantsa, a native of Boryslav, Lviv region.
Irma’s younger sister, Natalia, is married to lawyer Stanislav Lieberman, who is the brother of Ukrainian singer Tina Karol.
