Andriy Mykolayovych Danyk – Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (2024 – present).

Danyk was born on October 26, 1978 in Kropyvnytskyi.
He received higher education at the Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after the Heroes of Chernobyl of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ukraine. In 2002, he received the qualification of a fire safety engineer.
Career
In 1998, he began serving in the State Emergency Service (SES), working in the village of Starobesheve, Donetsk region. He worked as the head of the guard of the fire department, after which he held a number of other positions.
In June 2013, he was appointed head of the Starobeshevsky district department of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region.
At the beginning of 2015, he took the position of head of the Special Purpose Emergency Rescue Squad in the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Donetsk region, and a few months later he was appointed Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Donetsk region.
In 2020, he started working in the Cherkasy region, taking the position of head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service.
Three years later, he was promoted, becoming deputy head of the State Emergency Service.
On February 27, 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Danyk as the acting head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
On June 28, he was appointed head of the State Emergency Service.
Marital Status
He is married to Yulia Danyk, who, according to the declaration, as of 2022 served as deputy head of one of the departments at the Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after the Heroes of Chornobyl.
