Denys Stanislavovych Bigus is a journalist, founder of the Bihus.info project.

He was born on October 5, 1985 in Vinnytsia.
He studied at the Faculty of History of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Career
He began his journalistic career by writing articles on online services and video games. He worked in print media, where he held the positions of editor and freelance correspondent.
In 2004 – 2005, he was a correspondent of the political department of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, and later moved to the position of night editor.
After that, he moved on to work on television as a special correspondent. He participated in the creation of investigative journalism programs “Exclamation Mark” and TenderNews, which were broadcast on the TVi TV channel. His materials were also published in publications such as KyivPost and Ukrainska Pravda.
In the spring of 2013, he joined the international network of investigative journalists OCCRP (Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project).
In the same year, he became the author and host of the anti-corruption investigation program “Our Money”, which was broadcast on the ZIK TV channel. Subsequently, on the basis of this program, a group of anti-corruption and information projects was created Bihus.info. This group included “Our Money with Denys Bihus”, IT initiatives “Declaration” and Ring, as well as public organizations “TOM 14” and “Chancellery Hundred”.
In 2014, Bigus took part in a project to restore documents that were drowned in the residence of Mezhyhirya, which previously belonged to fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych.
In 2015, he began teaching, conducting classes at the Ukrainian Media School, as well as at the School of Journalism of the Ukrainska Pravda publication.
