German Valeriiovych Galushchenko – Minister of Justice of Ukraine (July 17, 2025 – current time).
Place of Birth, Education
Galushchenko was born on May 1, 1973 in Lviv.
In 1995, he completed his studies at Lviv State University, majoring in Jurisprudence and receiving a law degree with honors.
He also graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade with a degree in Management of Foreign Economic Activity, having received a master’s degree in international management.
Career
He worked in the prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
At different times, he held the positions of Deputy Head of the Department of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine, as well as Director of the Department of Judicial Work of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
During 2013 and 2014, he was the Executive Director for Legal Support of the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom.
Since 2012, he has been teaching private international law at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, holding the position of Associate Professor of the Department of Private International Law.
From May 2020 to April 29, 2021, he served as Vice President of the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom.
On April 29, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada supported the appointment of Galushchenko to the post of head of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
On July 17, 2025, he was appointed Minister of Justice of Ukraine.

He was awarded the title of “Honored Lawyer of Ukraine”, as well as the Order of Danylo Halytskyi.
Marital Status
He is married and has two daughters and a son.
