Iryna Ihorivna Mak is a Ukrainian theater and film actress, Honored Artist of Ukraine (2024).

She was born on July 3, 1970 in the city of Vinnytsia.
In 1994, she completed her studies at the Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary.
Career
Career in movies and TV shows
In 1994, her screen debut took place. She starred in the series “Princess”, where she played the role of Oksana.
In the 2000s, she starred in popular projects, in particular in the TV series “The Return of Mukhtar”, “By Law”, “Black Sheep”, “Arithmetic of Cunning”, “Dandelion”, where she played both episodic and notable roles.
In the feature film, she appeared in the films “Bishop Andrey”, “A Tale of Money”, “Numbers”, as well as in the film “Rhinoceros”, where she played the mother of the main character. A separate place in her work is occupied by the series “Catch Kaydash” in 2020, in which Mac played the role of Marusya Kaydashikha.
Other works include the series “Poor Sasha” and the film project “GKChP”.
Theatrical roles
After her studies, she began working at the Kyiv Drama and Comedy Theater on the left bank.
During this time, she played dozens of roles. At the beginning of her career, she appeared in productions based on the works of Ivan Karpenko-Kary, William Shakespeare, Alexander Ostrovsky, Fyodor Dostoevsky. Among the notable works are Olivia in Twelfth Night, Bianca in Othello, Marianne in a play based on the play by Alfred de Musset, as well as Dunyash in The Cherry Orchard.
In the 2000s, the repertoire expanded. She played, for example, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet and Daria Fedosievna Kruglova in the play Not Everything is Maslenitsa.
In subsequent years, she appeared in the performances “Don Juan, or Lessons of Seduction”, “Dowry. Version”, “2-year warranty”, “Home” and “Father” and more.
