Alina Mikhailovna Grosu is a Ukrainian singer and actress.

She was born on June 8, 1995 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine.
While studying in high school, she graduated with honors from the Kyiv Academy of Variety and Circus Arts named after Utesov, where she studied at the Faculty of Musical Art.
In 2010, she completed her studies at the Kyiv Gymnasium in Pechersk as an external student. In the summer of the same year, she went to Moscow, where she entered the All-Russian State University of Cinematography. There she chose the Faculty of Acting.
In the spring of 2023, she went to the United States of America (USA), where she began studying at the Hollywood School of Acting in Los Angeles.
Career
At the age of 3, Grosu took part in the Mini-Miss Ukraine contest. At the same time, she first declared herself, performing a song and taking first place in the nomination “Little Young Lady-Talent”. During the competition, singer Iryna Bilyk drew attention to her. The latter noted the girl’s potential and presented her with several songs.
When she was 6 years old, she moved to Kyiv. During this period, her professional musical activity began. Later, she became a laureate of the first prize of the “Song Vernissage” and a diploma winner of the “Morning Star” competition. In 2001, she also won the Child of the Year nomination.
From 2000 to 2010, Grosu released 5 studio albums with her own songs. Among them are “Together with Me” in 2000, “Bee” in 2002, “The Sea Is Agitated” in 2004, “I Want to Be Naughty” in 2008 and “Chalk on the Asphalt” in 2010.
Since the beginning of 2015, Grosu began to collaborate with the production center of Russian singer Grigory Leps. The first work was the song “Don’t forget”. During the next year, she also presented the compositions “Jealous”, “Rozhdestvenskaya” and “Dogs@”. The releases were accompanied by a change in the stage image – Grosu abandoned the image of a brunette and became blonde.
In 2017, Grosu stopped working with Leps due to differences of opinion. In the same year, she focused on dance music. During this period, she released the singles “I want to bass”, “Remember” and “Last Night”.
In 2018, the single “Lie” was released, and the 6th studio album “BAS” was released.
In November 2018, she began performing under the stage name GROSU and presented the song “Wild”. The change in the stage name was accompanied by a rebranding – the image of the artist became less frank, and the music returned to a lyrical sound.
At the beginning of 2019, she presented 2 more singles from the upcoming album – “Lyubila” and “VOVA”.
In 2021, she joined the musical TV projects “Mask” and “Everyone Sings!”, which were broadcast on the TV channel “Ukraine”. Also on March 12, the release of the seventh studio self-titled album “GROSU” took place. The disc included 17 tracks.
In the fall of the same year, the singer went on an all-Ukrainian tour with the program “Invincible”.
On February 28, 2025, the singer presented her 8th studio album “GROSU UA”. The release included 10 songs. The disc combined new songs and famous hits that received an updated sound and were translated into Ukrainian. Grosu worked on the adaptation of the texts on her own.
Marital Status
In 2019, Grosu married Russian businessman Alexander Komkov. However, soon the couple officially divorced.
After that, the singer was in a relationship with Russian actor Roman Polyansky, but the couple broke up during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In 2024, the singer announced a second marriage, while not disclosing information about her husband. According to the media, we are talking about Polyansky.
In December 2026, Grosu announced her pregnancy.
