He was born on August 24, 1976, in Kyiv.
In 1998, he graduated from Kyiv National Economic University, where he received a degree in “Human Resource Management,” and in 2001, he completed his studies at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in “Law.”
Later, in 2013, he graduated from the Institute of Intellectual Property at the National University “Odessa Law Academy.”
Career
From 1999 to 2001, Golovachov worked as a legal advisor at the limited liability company (LLC) “Tekhprom.” He then became a consultant to the Kyiv Court of Appeals.
In 2002, he was appointed assistant to the chief justice of the Capital City Court of Appeals, and from 2003 to 2005, he served as head of a department at that same court.
In 2005, he was appointed a judge of the Desnianskyi District Court of Kyiv, where he served until 2009.
He later returned to the Kyiv Court of Appeals, where he became deputy chief justice in 2014. In the summer of 2015, he was appointed chief justice of the Court of Appeals.
In September 2021, following a secret ballot among the judges, Golovachov was elected president of the Kyiv Court of Appeals for a three-year term.

He is married to Anastasia Golovachova. The couple has two sons.
