This <a href=\"https:\/\/interfax.com.ua\/news\/general\/1067787.html\">was stated by<\/a> Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna in comments to Interfax-Ukraine. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that she is currently in Budapest to help resolve the issues that are currently causing Hungary to block Ukraine\u2019s progress toward EU membership.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This is not a simple dialogue, but Ukraine is determined to find solutions that will help unblock the negotiation process. Therefore, I consider statements about the possibility of a decision on Moldova (without Ukraine\u2014Ed.) being made during my visit to Budapest to be unconstructive,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was Stefanishina\u2019s reaction to the remarks by Marta Kos, the European Commissioner for Enlargement, that the EU is considering the possibility of continuing Moldova\u2019s accession process while separating it from Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thepersona.com.ua\/posadovtsi\/olha-stefanishyna-399\/\">Olga Stefanishyna<\/a> also noted that <strong>she is scheduled to speak with Kos by phone<\/strong> on May 1, during which she plans to raise the issue in question.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As is well known, Hungary continues to block the opening of negotiation chapters on Ukraine\u2019s accession to the EU, citing alleged issues concerning the Hungarian national minority.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>European Commissioner Marta Kos\u2019s suggestion that Ukraine and Moldova might be separated during the EU accession process is unconstructive.
