Serhiy Vitalievich Nadal – Mayor of Ternopil (2010 – present).
Place of Birth, Education
He was born in the city of Ternopil on January 1, 1975.
He received his higher education at the Ternopil Commercial Institute, where he studied as an economist and completed his studies in 1995.
Subsequently, he continued to acquire professional knowledge at the Ternopil Academy of National Economy, where in 1997 he received a diploma in Accounting and Audit, and in 2001 he completed his master’s studies, specializing in finance.
Career
In the period from 1994 to 2005, he worked at the State Tax Inspectorate in Ternopil, where he began his career as a state tax inspector and later took the position of head of the department.
After that, he headed one of the departments of the State Tax Administration in the Ternopil region. In 2007, he was appointed to the post of First Deputy Chairman.
In 2010, for several months, he headed the Starokostiantynivska United State Tax Inspectorate in the Khmelnytskyi region.
Political Activities
According to the results of the elections, in 2009, he won the mandate of a deputy of the Ternopil Regional Council, where he joined the faction of the All-Ukrainian Union “Svoboda”.
During the next year, he worked as part of the regional organization of the political force.
In 2010, he won the election of the mayor of Ternopil, running for the Svoboda party. Subsequently, he twice gained the support of voters, being re-elected to this position in 2015 and 2020.
Marital Status
Married to Elena Nadal. The couple has a daughter, Anastasia.
