Mykyta Ruslanovych Poturaev is an expert in communications, political and media consulting, journalist, People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation of the Verkhovna Rada.
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on September 4, 1970 in Dnipro.
In 1992 he graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Dnipro National University with a degree in English Language and Literature.
Career
In 1990, he worked in the youth editorial office of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Television and Radio Company (ODTRK), and since 1992 he has held the position of editor in the creative association “Videofilm” at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Television and Radio Company.
In 1993-1994, he worked as an editor of the information editorial office, and later headed the department of economic programs at the Dnipropetrovsk City Television Studio.
During 1994-1995, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Media Relations Department at the Dnipropetrovsk Business Center “Cominfo”.
From 1995 to 1996, he worked as the editor-in-chief of the news editorial office and headed the editorial office of commissioned programs at the Privat TV Dnipro television company.
Since 1996, he has become the author and host of television programs in the Dniprovskyi Grad TV company, which were broadcast on Channel 11.
From 1996 to 1997, Poturaev worked as a lecturer at the Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Systems, Media and Communication at Dnipropetrovsk State University.
In 1997-1998, he held the position of Head of the Public Relations Department at the financial and industrial company “United Energy Systems of Ukraine” (UESU).
Since 1998, he has been managing political and electoral projects at the Third Sector Center for Promoting the Development of Local Self-Government and Public Relations. In particular, he was the head and producer of projects in the advertising and information agency “Institute of Information”.
From 1999 to 2000 he was a production editor, as well as an author and presenter of programs at the television company “Street Television”.
In 2000 – 2002, he became a member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, and later served as the first deputy head of this department.
From 2005 to 2008, he worked as an advisor in the communications and public relations department at the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, where he dealt with media issues and supervised the activities of the Fakty publication.
In 2009-2010, he was responsible for communication strategies and PR of the Front for Change party, headed by Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
From 2010 to 2011, he was an adviser to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Vasyl Dzharta, and in 2011 – 2013 he worked as an adviser to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.
From February to December 2013, he held the position of Advisor in the Department of Communications and Public Relations of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
In the 2014 parliamentary elections, he was engaged in the strategic design of the election campaign of the Strong Ukraine party, headed by Serhiy Tihipko.
From 2015 to 2016, he was one of the leading political technologists of the UKROP party.
In 2017-2019, he headed the limited liability company (LLC) “Focus Media” as a director.
In addition, he is a co-founder of the public organization “Quantum Future Lab”, which is engaged in research and development of socio-political initiatives.
Political Activities
He was elected a people’s deputy in 2019 from the Servant of the People party.
Since August 29, he has held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Information Policy.
In June 2020, he was elected chairman of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy.

Married. She has a son, Valentyn.
