Fedir Khristenko

Fedir Volodymyrovych Khristenko – Ukrainian entrepreneur, People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation.

Place of Birth, Education

He was born on October 11, 1983 in the village of Starohnativka in the Donetsk region.

He received higher education at Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University.

Career

Khrystonenko is the founder and head of the limited liability company (LLC) “Eastgoldcapital”. He also worked in the field of passenger road transportation.

In 2014, he was a confidant of candidate Petro Poroshenko in constituency No. 49 in the Donetsk region.

Political Activities

In 2019, Khristenko was elected a people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the IX convocation from the Opposition Platform – For Life party. He was a member of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy.

As of January 2020, he missed the consideration of 39 legislative acts. At the same time, at that time, since the beginning of work in the parliament, he ignored more than 1190 votes.

In August 2020, Khristenko was one of the co-authors of a submission to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (CCU) regarding the compliance of a number of provisions of anti-corruption legislation with the Constitution. On October 28, 2020, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine abolished criminal liability for false declarations and declared electronic declaration unconstitutional.

Scandals

In February 2020, the media reported that Khristenko celebrated his wife’s birthday in one of the most luxurious restaurants in Moscow. According to reports, the cost of the celebration was about $ 1 million, and the cost of the banquet was covered by a crime boss from Horlivka.

In 2021, Khristenko, using his status as a people’s deputy, appealed to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) with a request to conduct an official investigation into the disclosure of information about crossing the border by his wife. It was about ten of her trips to Moscow.

After that, administrative proceedings were opened against the MP himself under Part 2 of Article 172-7 of the Code of Ukraine (violation of the requirements for the prevention and settlement of conflicts of interest). Subsequently, the case was closed due to the absence of an event and corpus delicti.

On February 22, 2022, during a meeting of the parliament, Khristenko did not support the vote on the introduction of sanctions against Russia and the condemnation of the terrorist country due to the “recognition” of the so-called “L/DPR”.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, the MP disappeared from the public space – he did not attend parliamentary sessions, did not make any statements on social networks and hid his whereabouts.

Criminal cases

In 2025, Khristenko was detained in Ukraine. The former MP was wanted at that time on suspicion of treason and abuse of influence. According to the investigation, he was an agent of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation (RF) and was engaged in promoting Russian influence on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

There is little information about Khristenko’s family life. It is known that his wife’s name is Marina Kondaurova.
