Place of Birth, Education
She was born on October 29, 1985. She received higher education in:
- Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv at the Faculty of International Law;
- Odessa National Economic University, where she received the qualification of a specialist in finance and credit.
Later, she continued her studies at the diplomatic academies of Vienna and Tallinn.
Career
During 2006–2007, she was engaged in private legal practice.
In the period from 2007 to 2010, she worked as the head of the department responsible for legal support of European integration processes at the State Department for Legislative Adaptation.
During 2010-2015, she held the positions of Deputy Director and later Director of the Department of International Law of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
In the period from March 2017 to 2019, she held the position of Director of the Government Office for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers.
From January to June 2020, she worked as a counsel at Ilyashev Partners Law Firm.
On June 4, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada voted for her appointment to the post of Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration. She held the position until September 4, 2024.
The very next day, on September 5, 2024, the parliament voted for her appointment to the post of Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, combined with the duties of the Minister of Justice.
On July 16, 2025, the then government was dismissed.
The next day, Stefanishyna was appointed a special commissioner. President of Ukraine on the development of cooperation with the United States.
On August 27, 2025, she received the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States.
Political Activities
In the early elections to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019, she ran on the list of the Ukrainian Strategy of Groysman party at number 25, but did not enter the parliament.

Divorced. He has a daughter and a son.
