He was born on July 2, 1984.
He graduated from the International Financial University, which he graduated in 2005, and in 2007 from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
In 2018, he completed a leadership program at the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD).
Career
In the period from September 2006 to June 2008, he held the position of auditor at the international company KPMG. From June 2008 to April 2012, he worked at Tomáš Fiala’s Dragon Capital fund, where he was engaged in the development of a private equity fund.
From July 2009 to September 2012, he headed KMZ Industries as CEO. In the period from September 2012 to April 2019, he worked as an investment manager at System Capital Management (SCM), owned by Rinat Akhmetov.
From April 2012 to December 2019, he was a member of the supervisory board of Portinvest and Lemtrans.
In the period from July 2011 to 2012, he was the publisher of Latifundist Media. From January 2020 to 2021, he held the position of Managing Partner of Fortior Capital, which was engaged in investments in infrastructure projects and the agricultural sector.
Since 2021, he has worked as an adviser to the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov. On August 11, 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Kamyshyn as interim chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia Joint Stock Company.
From March 24, 2022 to March 2023, he headed the board of Ukrzaliznytsia. On February 27, 2023, he resigned from this position.
On March 3, 2023, Kamyshin was appointed a freelance adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. On March 21, 2023, the Verkhovna Rada decided to appoint him Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
On March 24, 2023, Zelensky fired Kamyshin from his position as his freelance adviser.
On September 26, 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed him a member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia Joint Stock Company.

Married. He has a daughter and a son.
