Oleg Vasilyevich Syniehubov – Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. (2021 – current time), head of the Poltava Regional State Administration (2019-2021).
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on August 10, 1983 in Kharkiv. In 2000, he became a student of the Faculty of Law of the Kharkiv University of Internal Affairs. He graduated in 2004 with honors, having received the qualification of a lawyer.
In 2008, he defended his PhD thesis in the field of law, and 7 years later, in 2015, he successfully received the degree of Doctor of Law.
Career
In the period from July 2004 to May 2005, he worked as an investigator in the investigative department of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ukraine on the Southern Railway.
From May 2005 to December 2007, he held the position of adjunct at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
At the beginning of 2008, he returned to investigative work, from January to July he worked in the investigative department of the line department at the Osnova station in the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the Southern Railway.
In July 2008, he left the service, focusing on scientific activities.
From August 2008 to March 2009, he taught at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, holding the position of senior lecturer at the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law, Economics and Sociology. In the period from March 2009 to July 2011, he held the position of Associate Professor of the Department.
From July 2011 to November 2015, he worked as Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Mass Communications of the University. In 2013, he received the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure.
From November 2015 to October 2019, he headed the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Since September 2016, he has been the Deputy Chairman of the Specialized Academic Council with the right to accept for consideration and defend dissertations for the degree of Doctor (Candidate) of Law.
In 2018, he became a member of the expert council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
In 2018, he participated in the competition for the position of judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine, but did not pass the selection.
During the 2019 parliamentary elections, he was a confidant of the candidate for people’s deputies from the Servant of the People party in constituency No. 180, developer Oleksiy Krasov.
From November 11, 2019 to December 24, 2021, he headed the Poltava Regional State Administration (RSA).
Since December 24, 2021, he has been the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
Business
Syniehubov is the owner of the limited liability company (LLC) “Seeds of Slobozhanshchyna” and the company “Syniehubov, Sobolev and Partners”.
He is also a co-founder of several commercial enterprises, including Vikata, which specializes in real estate transactions, Siboney Service, which provides consulting services in the field of commercial activities and management, as well as the law firm Raskosov Loyes Group.
Since 2009, he had a certificate that gave the right to practice law, but at the end of 2019 it was terminated.
Marital Status
He is married to Anna Zhuravleva. The couple has a son.
