Dmytro Volodymyrovych Lytvyn is a Ukrainian journalist, political observer and speechwriter, adviser to the President of Ukraine on communications (2024 – present).

He was born on May 14, 1984 in Kyiv.
He spent his childhood and school years in Lipki. He studied at the Lyceum of International Relations No. 51. In high school, he chose the humanities because he did not like mathematics.
In 2001, he entered the State University of Trade and Economics, where he studied law. Later, he realized that he was not interested in jurisprudence, but he did not leave the university.
In 2006, he completed his studies, after which he did not work in his specialty and was not a lawyer for a single day.
Career
Before completing his studies at the university, an acquaintance of Lytvyna, who had contacts in the media sphere, invited him to try himself in journalism. He gradually began to write for various publications, in particular for “Telekritik”.
At the same time, he blogbed on the Russian website “Snob”, as well as on the LiveJournal and Tumblr platforms. Later, he worked in the publication “Left Bank” and on the website “Revizor.ua”.
In the period from 2012 to 2021, he was an employee of the Inter TV channel. He also worked as a journalist for the publication “Liga.net”.
In 2019, Lytvyn launched the Telegram channel “Telenightmare”, in which he wrote about the media sphere.
In 2020, he began to communicate with MP from the Servant of the People Yevhenia Kravchuk. After that, he was involved in the preparation of theses for the “servants”. Later, he joined the communication team of the Office of the President (OP) and began writing speeches for President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In September 2024, the president appointed Lytvyn as his communications adviser.
