Bohdana Eduardivna Yarova is a public figure, volunteer, member of the Public Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, adviser to the First Deputy Minister of Defense, head of the NGO “Dream of Children of Ukraine”.
Place of Birth, Education
She was born on February 18, 1978 in Bucha, Kyiv region.
From 1995 to 2000 she studied at the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, where she received a diploma with honors in the specialty “Banking Law”. In the period from 2002 to 2005, at the same university, she received a second higher education in the specialty “Public Finance”.
Career
2000 – 2010
She worked as a leading legal adviser in the branch “Zhovtneve branch of Prominvestbank in Kyiv” in the period from 2001 to 2003.
In 2003 – 2004, she held the position of Chief Specialist of the Administrative and Legal Department of the Joint Stock Company (JSC) “Akb Kontrakt”.
In the period from 2004 to 2007, she headed the legal department of the limited liability company (LLC) “AMC – Administrator of Pension Funds Ukrsots-Capital”. After that, until 2008, she worked as Deputy General Director of AMC Concord Asset Management LLC.
In 2008 – 2009, she held the position of General Director of AMC Redix Asset Management LLC.
2000 – 2020
In the period from 2010 to 2011, she was Deputy Director for Legal Affairs at Target-Trade LLC.
In 2010, Yarova founded her own production of children’s clothing “Danaya”.
In the period from 2015 to 2017, she was an adviser to the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Also, from 2015 to 2016, she was a member of the “Volunteer Landing Force” under the Ministry of Defense, created to support reforms in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). During this time, the unit of the latest developments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was launched, which continues to work today. A medical reform has also been carried out – from evacuation and first aid to the work of hub hospitals. The army’s material support has been completely updated and brought to NATO standards. Separately, a nutrition reform was implemented, as well as changes were introduced in the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
From 2012 to 2016, she was the director of Danaya-Ukraine LLC.
Since 2016, he has been the director of Veselki Ukrainy LLC.
2020 – present
In 2021, she became the director of Dtrade LLC.
In 2022, together with Yulia “Taira” Paievska, she founded the charitable foundation “Ukrainian Foundation “Mriya”.
In 2023, she founded the public organization (NGO) “Dream of the Children of Ukraine”, which takes care of the children of dead, prisoners and missing soldiers.
In March of the same year, she was elected to the Public Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense.
She was also a member of the Department of Public Procurement as a member of the collegial body on logistics of the Ministry of Defense.
At Yarova’s initiative, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Ministry of Defense managed to transfer purchases to Prozorro.
On January 9, 2024, she was appointed as an adviser to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klymenkov on a voluntary basis.
In August, Yarova presented her first book “Heroes of Ukraine”, dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers.
In February 2025, she was appointed advisor to the First Deputy Minister of Defense.
