Place of Birth, Education
He was born in the territory of the former German Democratic Republic (GDR), where his father was serving in the military at that time. Subsequently, the family settled in the city of Yuzhne, Odessa region, Ukraine.
He received his higher education at the Mykolaiv State University for the Humanities named after Petro Mohyla. He studied at the Faculty of Computer Science, which he successfully graduated in 2006.
Career
He worked for the Polish company Comarch.
In 2010, he moved to Britain, where he joined UBS Bank. After that, he went to work at Credit Suisse.
In 2015, together with a financier of Russian origin Nikolai Storonsky, he founded Revolut , a fintech platform that provides services in the field of currency exchange, payment card issuance, stock trading, digital currencies, etc.
