Oleg Vladimirovich Gorokhovsky is a businessman, co-founder of Monobank.
Place of Birth, Education
He was born on September 19, 1974 in the city of Dnipro (formerly Dnipropetrovsk).
He received his higher education at the State Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, which he graduated in 1996 with a degree in engineer-economist.
Career
In the period from 1995 to 2016, he worked at PrivatBank, where he held various management positions. At first, he supervised the currency department, later headed the Interbank Lending Department. Later, he became the head of service for individual VIP clients, and also headed the Credit Cards program. Subsequently, he held the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Board, and later First Deputy Chairman of the Board. He left the bank after its nationalization.
In 2017, he co-founded the fintech company Fintech Band, which specializes in online banking. In May of the same year, together with partners, he founded the mobile bank Monobank, operating on the basis of the license of Universal Bank, owned by Serhiy Tigipko. He also joined the development of the Diia platform, cooperating with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
