Anatoliy Vladimirovich Trubin is a Ukrainian football player, goalkeeper of the Benfica football club and the national team of Ukraine.

He was born on August 1, 2001 in Donetsk.
At the age of 6, he started playing football in the Mariupol team “Azovstal-2”.
Career
Shakhtar
Trubin joined the youth academy of Shakhtar Donetsk in 2014. On February 14, 2019, he spent the entire Europa League match against Eintracht on the bench.
He made his debut for the Pitmen’s main team on May 26 in the home game of the 31st round of the Premier League against Mariupol. Trubin came out in the starting line-up, played the whole game and kept the goal “dry” – 4:0.
One of the main matches in his career was the Champions League group stage game on October 22, 2020, in which Shakhtar sensationally beat Real Madrid – 3-2. Also in the matches against Internazionale on October 27 and December 9, the goalkeeper spent all 90 minutes on the field without conceding a single goal.
Benfica
In the summer of 2023, Trubin became a player of the Portuguese Benfica. The debut for the new team took place on September 16 in a match against Vizela.
He spent the first part of the 2023/24 season as the club’s main goalkeeper. During this period, he played 19 matches, in 7 of them he left the goal “dry”.
In April 2025, he was named Primeira Liga Goalkeeper of the Month.
On June 25, at the Club World Cup, in the game against Bayern Munich, Trubin made 4 saves and helped Benfica win 1-0, and also received the title of the best player of the match.
On January 28, 2026, he scored the decisive goal in the match against Real Madrid, which ended with a 4-2 victory for Benfica. This allowed the club to reach the play-offs of the UEFA Champions League with the best goal difference. Trubin became the 5th goalkeeper to score a goal in the UEFA Champions League, and the first since Ivan Provedel in September 2023.
Appearances for national teams
Trubin played for the youth national teams of Ukraine U-17, U-18 and U-19, and also defended the colors of the youth team.
He made his debut for the national team on March 31 in a qualifying match for the 2022 World Cup against the national team of Kazakhstan. The footballer came out in the starting lineup.
On June 1, 2021, he was included in the application of the Ukrainian national team to participate in the 2020 European Championship.
