Oleksandra Yuriivna Ustinova – People’s Deputy of the IX convocation of Ukraine, head of the “Holos” faction.
Place of Birth, Education
She was born on October 2, 1985 in Vinnytsia.
She received her higher education at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, where in 2009 she completed her studies and received a master’s degree in Political Science.
During 2018 – 2019, she studied at Stanford University.
Career
In 2006, she began her career at the PR agency Krasni Kommunikatsii, where she held the position of communications manager.
After 4 years, she moved to a similar position in the charitable organization (BO) “All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS”.
Since 2011, she has worked at eBay after it bought out Magento. She held the position of public relations manager.
In 2014, she joined the public sector as an independent expert and a member of the board of the public organization (NGO) “Anti-Corruption Action Center”.
In the period from 2015 to 2016, she held the position of Secretary of the Public Control Council at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
In the summer of 2017, she became a member of the Commission for Corruption Risk Assessment and Control over the Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Program of the Ministry of Health (MOH) of Ukraine. In the same year, she became a member of the supervisory board of the Patients of Ukraine Charitable Foundation.
In 2018, she began hosting the program “(Free) Medicine” on Channel 24.
Political Activities
According to the results of the parliamentary elections of 2019, she received the mandate of a people’s deputy of Ukraine. She entered the Verkhovna Rada on the list of the “Holos” party under No. 5 and joined the faction.
In the summer of 2021, she became one of the deputies who expressed no confidence in the head of the party, Kira Rudyk, and joined the newly created deputy association “Justice”.
At the end of the same year, she headed the Holos faction in parliament.
Marital Status
She is married to Oleksiy Yatsyuk. The couple has a daughter, Victoria.
