Andriy Fedoriv

Andrey Vladimirovich Fedoriv is a Ukrainian marketer, founder of Fedoriv Group.

Place of Birth, Education

He was born on February 1, 1979 in Kyiv.

He studied at secondary school No. 57 with in-depth study of English.

From a young age, he showed interest in entrepreneurship and attended the Junior-Business club, where he studied the basics of marketing, macroeconomics and accounting.

After graduating from school, he entered the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as an international journalist. He completed his studies in 2000.

Career

In 1995, Fedoriv began a career in business journalism, writing about marketing and management for the magazine “Capital” and the newspaper “Business”.

In the period from 1998 to 2003, he worked in international advertising agencies Adell Saatchi & Saatchi and Bates Ukraine. At the age of 20, he became the company’s development director.

In 2001, he joined the board of the All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition, and in 2002 he founded the advertising agency “Apricot” within the holding.

In October 2003, he left Adell Saatchi & Saatchi and Bates Ukraine and, together with his partners , founded the marketing company “People”, the creative bureau “Sakhar” and the design studio “Karandash”. On their basis, the United Communications communications holding was subsequently built, which united more than ten companies. Fedorov, in turn, became its co-owner and CEO.

In 2005, he began teaching marketing at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School. The very next year, under his leadership, Sahar topped the creativity rating, winning the largest number of awards at various festivals.

In 2007, he became the youngest winner of the “Trace in Advertising” award for his personal contribution to the development of the advertising market of Ukraine.

In 2010, he left the United Communications holding and founded his own marketing agency Fedoriv. In a few years, it has turned into one of the most famous and largest agencies in Ukraine.

In 2015, the agency’s team developed a rebranding of the Kyiv Zoo, and in 2019 created a new brand for the city of Vinnytsia.

In the period from 2010 to 2014, Fedoriv was a strategic partner of the Ostankino Meat Processing Plant. During the collaboration, the positioning “Dad can!” was created, which later grew into a separate brand.

In 2012 – 2016, Fedoriv served as chairman of the All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition. In particular, in 2012, he joined the international association of owners of family companies FBN.

In 2014, he founded the Fedoriv Hub multimedia space in the center of Kyiv. A year later, Fedoriv developed a rebranding of the Kyiv Zoo.

In 2016, the marketer created a training course for business owners – BrandFather.

Since 2017, Fedoriv has been running his own YouTube channel Fedoriv Vlog, where he shares his thoughts on branding, business, and creativity.

In 2018, he announced the opening of the Berlin office of Fedoriv, which focused on international projects.

In August 2019, the agency, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and Spiilka design buro, created the brand of the digital state “Diia”.

In the same year, Fedoriv announced the creation of the Fedoriv Group.

Since 2018, the marketer has been a member of the independent board of directors of the Barcom agricultural holding, since 2019 – the development company Riviera Village, and since 2020 – the restaurant corporation Resta.

Marital Status

Fedoriv’s first wife was Daryna Zholdak, a Ukrainian art critic, gallerist and curator of Mystetskyi Arsenal projects. She died in February 2012 from a heart attack. In her honor, the marketer founded the Daryna Zholdak Foundation, which supports cultural and educational initiatives in Ukraine.

Children from the first marriage:

  • Yaryna, born in 2004;
  • Kateryna, born in 2008;
  • Ivanna was born in 2012.

The second wife was Yaroslava Gres, a Ukrainian journalist, blogger and public figure, co-founder of the PR agency Gres Todorchuk. The couple got married in August 2015.

From his second marriage, Fedorov has a son – Luka, born in 2016.
